Privacy Policy
Last updated 9 August 2026
This policy covers everything SUSS GAME LIMITED does with your personal data — this website, the waitlist, orders and customer support. It explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it for anyone else's advertising. We collect what we need to run a shop and tell you about our games, and nothing beyond that.

What we collect, and why
If you join the waitlist
- Your email address — so we can tell you when something goes on sale, when a launch happens, and about our games and offers.
- Your IP address, browser user-agent and referring page, plus the time you signed up — kept only to detect and block automated sign-up abuse, and as a record that you gave consent.
Lawful basis: your consent, for the emails. Our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the form, for the technical details. You can withdraw consent at any time — every email has an unsubscribe link, or email us.
If you buy something
Orders are processed by Shopify, which collects your name, delivery address, email, phone number if given, and payment details. Shopify processes your payment; we never see or store your full card details. We receive your name, address and contact details so we can send you your order and support it afterwards.
Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you. Keeping order records is also a legal obligation for tax purposes.
If you contact us
We keep your message and our reply so we can deal with your query and any follow-up.
Lawful basis: performance of our contract if it's about an order; otherwise our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us.
If you enter a competition or promotion
We collect whatever the entry form asks for, and use it only to run that promotion and contact winners. Each promotion's own rules say more.
Lawful basis: performance of our contract with you under those rules.
What we don't do
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. We do not build profiles, and we do not share your details with advertisers or data brokers. Shopify's checkout sets its own cookies necessary to run a shop — Shopify's privacy policy covers those. If we ever add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this page and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Who else sees your data
Only service providers we need to run this, each acting on our instructions:
- Google Cloud / Firebase — hosts this site and stores waitlist sign-ups (data held in the UK/EU region).
- Google Sheets — a working copy of the waitlist, accessible only to us.
- Shopify — order processing and payments.
- Our email provider — sends the waitlist and order emails.
Some of these are based outside the UK. Where data is transferred internationally, it is protected by UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist and marketing sign-ups — until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until we stop using the list.
- Anti-abuse details (IP, user-agent, referrer) — 12 months.
- Order records — 6 years after the end of the tax year they relate to, which UK tax law requires.
- Support correspondence — 2 years, or longer where it relates to an order we still hold records for.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- ask what data we hold about you, and get a copy
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted (subject to records we're legally required to keep)
- object to or restrict how we use it
- receive your data in a portable format
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it
Email support@suss.game and we'll respond within one month.
If you think we've handled your data badly, please tell us first — but you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113 regardless.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us their details, email us and we'll delete them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we'll update this page and change the date at the top. If the change is significant and we hold your email address, we'll tell you directly.
